Switching out Blizzard models for cooler ones.

This might be a dumb question, so please don't be rude if it is.

Is it possible to change the models in the warcraft 3 campaigns by Blizzard through Altering the MPQ in some way? and is there a certain tool that i would need to mod the game?

yes there is use the program winmpq
but this may screw your chances in playing online in bnet
