The map I work on previous to me picking up the project is half written in the language 'Zinc'

The new world editor doesn't seem to support Zinc, is there any up to date jasshelpers or some sort of program to compile Zinc into a readable format for WE?
I currently am forced to work with version 1.29 WE using 'Codahar' Jasshelper which supports Zinc, but I'd really like to upgrade to a newer version.

Or is my only choice to rewrite all these scripts into Jass?
Thanks.

Hmm that's strange, i'm pretty sure Zinc is defined/compiled as part of jasshelper. It was definitely designed and implemented by Vex, and if you go to jasshelper's official page JassHelper 0.A.2.B - A vJass and Zinc 2 Jass compiler - Wc3C.net and search the changelog, you can find a bunch of notes for Zinc. This makes sense, since Zinc relies on both JASS and vJASS. I wonder why the version included with the new vanilla WE doesn't compile Zinc...

Wait, I just tried compiling a simple zinc script, and that worked fine for me. Have you tried disabling all of your scripts and then enabling just the simplest one written in Zinc? I wonder if the compatibility issue isn't full support, but just a few pieces of Zinc's functionality changing. I'm attaching my test map, but please let me know if I've misunderstood / over simplified something

Ya I got it working, turns out there was an issue with my World Editor. Thanks for the reply though!
