[Miscellanous / Other] Suggested About My New Map Castle Defence

Hello everyone, I'm here asking for help to solve my map that I built last week, but I do not have any interesting ideas to make this map interesting, anyone who can help me, please help. I categorize this map as "Castle Defense" but I do not use capital castle, I use capital as a black ball. Currently the map is ready 28/100%.:vw_sad:

to post pictures: you can take screenshots in-game with the Print Scrn button on the keyboard. Then, you can use an image converter to convert the picture from TGA to JPG or something similar. Then, you can put it here on the Hive.

A key point of defence missions is the amount of enemies in the game. Try to make as many enemy types as possible, each needing their own strategy to defeat.

Thnks man, you save my life.. now how it's look still bad,, if i tell it's still 28/100% complete, or you can give me cool idea,, my idea is i want to make many boss and 120 wave also ultimate item.

Maybe add upgradable creep spawns for the castle side to fight enemies?

It's a good idea to make weaker creeps return in later levels with great numbers, or to add small boss fights in between/after certain waves.

I can also give ideas for creep enemies/spawns from the castle side, if you need them.

One things:
-I don't want map that to lagger
-I don't like to spawn to much creep (Cause Lag)
-I like you idea, but i don't give much information.

There's a barracks next to the castle, that spawns a footmen to fight every X seconds. The barracks has several items sold (called army contracts or something) that dissapear when they are bought, but the spawn increases (every barracks will spawn 2 Footmen, for example)

example for returning creep waves:
During round 1, 20 skeletons attack the castle. During round 2, there's 15 skeletons and 10 skeleton archers. At round 3, there's 40 skeletons. Basically, creeps of previous waves return in the waves after that one in greater numbers. When there's too many creeps because of this to cause lag, just make them stronger.

That was a good idea, i will make it now but can you find me model like this http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/requests-341/please-help-me-making-more-model-like-these-245177,if you find it i requset for the model:ogre_hurrhurr:. And when i finished my new map i will post it at map forum.:grin:

This looks really good. I'm impressed. What kinds of models are you going to use for heroes and spawns? What type of theme are you going for? I think you should use a nice variety. I would go with mostly standard Dota heroes and creeps of all races but maybe it could be more about just a few races. What do you think? I will help you pick out models if you want. I have a list of favorites.

I do not know on what exact help you want but to say something about those screenshots, they do look awesome indeed for a Castle Defense (it has lots of theme in it) especially the nice terrain it has which I actually rarely see from TDs out there so a very great job to that and reps to you.

So to repeat, what ideas specifically are you asking?

[My Idea]
Selected Game Type: Wave or Classic
- Make 120 Wave for Each Counter time expires. (Included for Boss Spawn Every 5 Wave Ends] / / For Wave Type.
- Creep spawn every 12 second but have a special event (I do not know how many special events that i want) / / Classic Type
- Make Combination Many items included recipe
- Super Item (If it's good idea)
- Ultimate Boss to challenge
- Cool Spell (maybe i should download spell at here HV)
- Cool Hero (Not yet)
- I set 12 Difficult: Easy> Normal> Hard> Very Hard> Hardcore> Extreme> Super> Legendary> God> Ultimate God> Game Over

Those are indeed very awesome and mindblowing ideas you have in your mind. To add something more, you could make the boss spawns each 10 waves and not 5 for the reason to give the players time to get ready and set everything up. 5 waves is quite happening so fast, don't you think?

Super Items would be cool though we should consider also the balances of each super items so good luck to you on the part of balancing.

Bosses could have some greater item loot drops and the ultimate boss have the ultimate item loot drops.

The arrangement of the 12 difficulties looks weird. Maybe should be like this: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, Super, Extreme, Hardcore, God, and Game Over. Remove Ultimate God... it looks much awkward for a name to be honest.
