Yo Im Making A New Map Called Stickman Arena im taking sugestions for it and i need a good stickman model with a hold rifle stand a hold sword stand a fire rifle attack and a slash sword attack

And if you want to have a better chance to actualy get someone to make you that model... then maybe say a little more about that project.. show pics similar.... as it seems by you signature that just started it.. and mostly you will have more succes showing that the project is already made.. and you just miss models.. similar... because usually modellers, like myself doesnt want to make models to a project who they doesnt know anything about and is unsure if it will ever finish...

well its a regulage stick arena it hase alot of weapons (i can get those) some well known stick men like Liquid Sword (from droidz.org) And Animation (from the animation vs animator) i have a stickman model but its not all that good for the gun part i hope some 1 will help me

Do us a favor...post some actual work in progress screens, like what has already been suggested.

Trust me.. if you was just showing your map then there would have been much more about the map insted of just some random words about other stickmen inspired games and so... Do not think we are not interested in your map. The entire Map Development forum is for people like you to tell and show everyone what your map is going to be like, contain and keep everyone up to date with progress. You may even win fans before the map is finished, but that depends if it is attractive enough.

However do read the rules before starting a thread there (especially the section specific rules), the moderators of that forum do not like rule breaking much.

Site descussion is not the appropiate place for any map or request. We have 100s of map makers like you and so it really is not a major site matter if "another one" is making a map. We are a largish site and so it is recomended to use each section properly so you get as many requests fufiled, problems solved, and maps admired as you posiably can.

Sorry if this seemed confusing but I am sure you will get used to it, as most people seem to have eventually.

Well it is realy highly posible that 5 diffent users will reguest the same model, with the same needs (guns and so) for the same kind of map.. In the same strange way, in the same wrong forums... but else sure it is posible you aint him

If he really was smart, he would put his past behind him, make new account and IP that is totally different from his others and then behave normally and like a normal user. He would also keep 1 active account as there is no need for multiple then. Then there would be no problem.

It would be wise for the staff here to give chances to those previously-banned memebers who can find ways around not being banned! I don't know what kind of "trouble" he's caused in the past, but his demeanor and request seems innocent enough. Surely doesn't warrant verbal attacks.


Anyway, I hope you dedicate yourself to this map. I can imagine how kick-ass it would be to play your own 3D stick character! And first-person would be awesome! Well, so would 3rd.

And my advice is not attach realistic weapons to them. I know you asked for a sword and gun, but if i were you i'd ask for a hallow sword, and hallow weapons. Meaning, the outlines are traced but the insides are white, if not able to make them transparent. That way it keeps more of a cartoonish feel, and i can't envision an enjoyable 3D stick-man game without a cartoonish kind of feel to it.

I wish i could model, i'd go crazy with this map and helping you to finish it! Good luck and please STICK to it! I wish i came up with this idea!..

Though i MAY be able to help you out with the limited knowledge i possess. Just PM me and let me know what can be done (aside from models). I can edit the terrain to have some cartoonish, bright and fuzzy colors if you wanted, not over-kill. I also know a bit about triggers, and what i don't know i look through WC modding sites, so i may be of a big help to you (though not as big of help as a modeler would be).

To the modelers: If you want to make a map about stick-men, the only hard part is going to be making 3D stick-figures.. And ask yourself, how hard is it for "me" to make a 3d stick-figure?! The terrain is given.

Sidenote: To anyone who remembers my "SubSpace" game-ptich (which i have been working on), along with it i stated that i believe it is going to be the games like these, like THIS one, that will be the most fun in the end.. In the end, because the same'ol same old has had it's run for the <80% veterans players - and it's time for something different.
Starcraft may be your way but that's not the Warcraft way!

EDIT: you'd need a dedicated modeler for this one, i think.

Just after WCsearch died I decided to make an account here by the name of Lunatechnic. I was an annoying little so and so then, aged 11. I decided to spam the whole forum up.
