Heya, i uploaded a new terrain in the template section yay. Check it out. Brood War Template
This is actually an old terrain, like as far as i remember i made this back in 2013 but i never uploaded it. The guy right here Terrain Test - Melee Map Test motivated me to look back to some of my melee maps i never released. This map is actually my very first take of symmetrical terraining (It is perfectly balanced too!). I improved it today, i fixed the tiles (added the soft edges to the tiles, much better compared to the batch of textures i released six years ago here: StryderZero Terrain tile + Skins Giveaway).
This may not look very special but it is very special to me (and probably to other people who love Starcraft I too). I tried to make it as Starcraft-y as possible, no random trees or doodads like how things look like in Starcraft I.
Note: I will be uploading at least two templates based on Starcraft I art style with different tilesets. This thing is just the first one.

(I do apologize the lack of doodads, Hiveworkshop doesn't really offer much assets related to Starcraft I, i will do better on the second template).
Edit: I am not satisfied with the first version so i decided to fix it, it is now using desert tiles instead of jungle tiles, added doodads and rescaled the map. If you feel disappointed with the output (I hope you don't :c) bear in mind i had to make it as Starcraft-y as possible, as much as i want to add custom cliffs and add more foliage, i can't because that's not how it works in Starcraft I, and this is playable (obviously).
