I was trying to open battle.net when the 0x0000005 error showed up. I don't have AVG or any antivirus software that disables it. Is there a way to fix this?

Which StarCraft are you referring to and tell use exactly the operating system you're running it on.

Yeah, it didn't work for me on Win7 either... Works on Win10 though.

@warfreakjohn actually, I remembered about this thread which was two or so threads below yours, by the way...
(Auto-SOLVED) Can't start Brood War Anthology on Win7
I think it either had something to do with Win7 updates or Blizzard that it worked on Win7 but since you've probably updated your game to the latest patch, you might need to also update your OS to the latest.
