I have a weird glitch in SCC, its the menu's hiding behind the scenery thing. Also on startup the intro's won't show up while i do hear sound. I can't find any fixed, i already installed patch 1.02 but it doesn't fix anything. A friend and i got the game from the same place, but it seems like his is working fine and i can't find someone with a problem similar to mine elsewhere.

What i did was updating my graphics driver to be sure of having the latest and patching to 1.02... i've got no clue as nobody seems to have the same problem so i'm kinda stuck on this one...

Haven't tried reinstalling although that might be a simple solution i doubt it would work because i suspect my videocard.

Oh and btw, this DOES hold me from playing the actual game because when i go to options and such i get to see almost nothing except for red selection light glowing up from somewhere behind a black wall something hiding almost the whole menu so i can't almost see anything of the other menu's except that the main one is a little more visible than the others.

EDIT: Re-installed the game, didn't work.

Posting system details might help...

But here are some things that may fix it.
1. Update graphic card driver. 95% of non hardware related graphical errors in modern games can be fixed via this.
2. Update/reinstall direct X. Although unlikly this will make a difference, it could be caused by missing DX modules (although that usually causes a fatal error).
3. Turn off any visual enhancements your graphic drivers might be forcing (AA, AF, etc).
4. Make sure the game is running is 32 bit colour, although I think you can not turn that off nowdays.
5. Try running the game in OpenGL mode if it supports it.
6. Make sure your graphic card meets the minum requirements (could be missing shaders etc). If it does not consider getting one which does.
7. Mess with the ingame graphic options (raise or lower) to see if it gets corrected.

It was exactly that which i didn't think about at all. Anyways, i had turned everything off already for another game because i have was having framedrops while it didn't look that good at all.

I didn't know Catalyst or anything could cause these kind of things to happen. Though there have already been ALOT of patches for convinction so i blame the game for all these issues. (Like 3 patches already haven been released early after the release, that's not good!)

So i fixed it, running fine now :)
