Splash and Own Towers

Hi,
I´m working on a TD at the moment. There is a race which has nearly only towers with splash. But when they attack a unit, which is near to an other tower ( which belongs to me too) , this tower is destroyed! I think its because of the splash damaging all units in the area ! But own towers ,too?!?!
How can i prevent this?? Please help!

Go to the unit's attack data fields, you will find one that says - AoE damage: Targets allowed (or something like that). Make sure that friendly and self are not checked and that enemy is checked.
