Mr Bob makes his own, I think. And I really like it, but the prob is the body - needs more shapes kinda of, especially better texture. The legs and the gun are just awesome and yes with a suitable protoss skin that's gonna become one awesome immortal :)

Now you just made me use it, I wanna fight vs such model that looks a bit like immortal. 4/5 cause of the body that is MEH.

Guys, I see that you want it to be more like the protoss thing, It's not. It is a standalone model. Not from anything really. D:

And may I ask, why the heck is it under 4/5?

Name 3 bad points about this model...

i'll try.. umm...

~strange wrap
~too angular
~a lill bit off animations.

but yeah it is nice. just that front of the body is weird

There is absolutely no stretch in the wrap. I used box wrap. Nothing wrong could have happened. What is wrong with the front body?

The angles are fine. What are you talking about?

The anims look like crap in the model editor. Look ingame. The fact that none of the bones are attached is completely needed.

:p come one Mr.Bob, we love your models, dont get defensive. It is a little weird but its still really awesome. a 4/5 is defined as "recommended" which is good! I think what misha meant when he said that the texture was stretched is on the main body, the texture is just very plain looking, as opposed to the legs which have more detail in them, that's all. Which isnt really your fault because you are using INGAME textures. all in all though, i think this model is very good and a lot better than other models here. We're just throwing out suggestions :)

Indeed. As I said before, the death anim would be a pain in the ass with a regular skeleton. Unless you'd duplicate the mesh and use one of them for the death anim like Blizzard have done with the skeleton models. But that would just be stupid since it would increase the poly count and there by the filesize, and then it already works great in game so there's no need to edit.

I didn't relate this at all with the immortal, I was thinking more spring/SupCom Unit. I noticed you do play spring; is that where you got the idea? I really like the model, its a tad bit too big; maybe a small rescaling? The rest is perfect!

You can scale it in the world editor. But, if you'd like the particles and giant footprints etc eliminated, contact me and I can arrange it.

And, the concept was derived from the game "Metroid Prime 3". It was a collection of many things actually. But, mostly metroid.
