Spells and roots

How do you trigger spells to get better as your atrributes get better. EXample : every 3 intell your spell gains 1 damage. Or sqaure rooting your abilitys to add that to your damage? please reply asap!

You need to trigger the damage of the spell yourself, and then add a formula for its amount..
