I am currently working on a World of Warcraft based map and am getting along quite well making all the spells/FXs myself, as I am fairly experienced and have been doing it for some time. However, call me n00b, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do one spell type.

I am trying to make 1 hero into 2 heroes, have an ability that shifts the one hero with his own ability sets into another hero with his own ability sets and vise versa, so that you can freely shift between them based on what you currently need in the game. An example of this from WoW is Bear form, Cat Form, Shadow Form, ect. Help me out if you would, thanks much in advance.

Cant you like, make a storage place for a hero. Ever played Final Fantasy Epic? They keep heroes in top left corner, and when u change class they move the current hero up there and move the one u changed to, to your current postion. If it doesnt help sry :p just thought u culd base it off of that.

Yes, I also saw these storage places stuff and I personally am against it. If you do not use such systems, and instead hide the hero, just like blizzard does with dead heroes. Yes, it's very interesting that blizzard after killing the hero, has a code to make it transparent phase by phase, and then simply hide it and set its transparency back to 0. After that they move it outside the map.

And to ensure that you can't discover this, they made it so that you cannot unhide dead heroes (the BJ function). The native allows you to unhide even dead heroes, and if you move them in the center of the map or somewhere accessible, you will see the hero in its last phase, staying still in the air. I tried it with the pally... ;)

thanks guys worked great. One more question, I havnt really loked through the functions and havn't looked through abilities all that much to see if its possible, but is there anyway I can make a unit appear right on top of the old unit? The unit that unhides appears next to the hiding unit, making it kind of obvious =/.

Also, havnt ever messed with this, but how do you hide hero buttons?
