Ok I've made a spell that triggers 12 seconds after you use it. Its intended to add a buff that reduces damage taken by 20% and damage dealt by 5%. I dont know how to add that special buff or make it for that matter. Anyone show me the light?
you'll have to add a custom Stone Skin "Stone Giant's ability" to the unit for the 20% reduction, and make a dummy cast a Curse that lowers attack, but not chance to miss.
uh actually, im not sure how to make curse reduce damage and the custom giant stone skin doesnt reduce damage by %, do i have no choice but to select an actual number instead?
You most likely have a box you can check that determines if it checks for a real value or precentage. If not, use a different ability.
As to curse, it is already reducing damage, simply remove the slow or whatever other negative things there are there and set the reducing damage to your value.
You can always use different abilities if you can't get rid of their special effects or things like that, because normally there are at least 2 abilities for each effect.
You could always just use inner fire for the damage decrease and it's based on a percentage. Just press the shift key when you click on the percentage for attack and it will let you use negative numbers too.
