Space Marine - Scale Armour

I used my scales on space marine to see what it looks like.
I thought it looks OK. I hate the fact the skin looks bad because I have to scale to 256 x 256 for it to work but otherwise i like it.

Criticism, comments or opinions are wanted and welcome.

It looks only like you made one scale and CnP'd it all over the skin.
And it doesnt look very good :/
