Hey all, im working on a Loap/Cruiser command/ metastatis style map set in space.
Summary:
you play a band of humans who live on a top research outpost on the edge of the galaxy.
each player starts as a basic colonist, but learns skills and rank as he performs different tasks around the base. unlocking new activities and areas as he goes up the rank ladder
for example the base is split into several areas.
The Academy- where students learn scientific research techniques for later
Flight School - where a player learns how to be a pilot, running trade missions or defending the base from a invading fleet.
Science labs- split into different departments such as the Technology research department, who look into new upgrades for the pilots to use or the biology department complete with testing subjects and a biodome to grow food.
Mines- collecting ore for the scienctists and ship repair etc.
each area has its own set of jobs which are all important for the base to function, from pilot to teacher to miner.
then we get into space, a massive region full of pirates, aliens and other nasty creatures that want nothing more then to eat, infect or shoot our sorry human friends!
players will take to space with ships they created in the science labs fighting other cruisers in space ( think cruiser command style) then landing on a world in a dropship ( star ship troopers anyone?

the people i would like to give me a hand are simply people who are good with triggers and people who are full of ideas
i can trigger, but theres always a more optimized way to do something, id appriecate the help
