is it possible to use a self updating sound file in WC3 ?

a sound file that constantly downloads new music from a web site and over writes its self (never increasing in size)

No, I don't believe it is. If you mean making a bot to automatically download music and put it in your warcraft 3 map, while reducing it's size to match the updated sound file exactly, then I can't help you and will not support you.

What do you mean by re-writes it self? Help me out here, and yes, you can use it in a Warcraft 3 map if it's downloadable or rippable. (Don't recommend second one)

OK, that makes no sense at all, but I'll try to help you. Just download or ask me for music that you can put in your map, you don't need it to rewrite itself all you need is a trigger that plays the music in a loop.

You cannot do that. Absolutely not. You import ONE file, that contains the specific data of ONE song, and you use that in your map. Nothing more. If you have any questions, they would probably be better directed to the Moderator....

I understand what he means, but wouldn't it be easier to simply upload the music that the website plays? It would take some space.. but there's always repeating the song!

That wouldn't be feasable either. If you wanted to have a map completely devoted to music, you would only be able to import 3 or 4 (max) songs into the game, so it wouldn't be worth it at all.
