[Import] Sound imports

Hello fellow map makers, I have a small problem: I made a custom map in which I added custom sounds for 2 heroes. In the editor (with the GEM activated) the hero speech quotes are playing, but in game they aren't.
I followed most of the instructions that I found on the internet and on hive, but I can't seem to find what I am doing wrong.

Did you import it correctly and put the imported path to the pre-existing ones?

you mean put the imported sound file path over the original sound path?
If yes, no I didn't.

Yes. If you did not, do that. That is the problem you are having. If you do not have any MPQ viewer, download one, which will help you see the paths (Ladik's MPQ Editor is a good choice).

So, what I did is replace the original sound with a sound picked by me from my pc, do I need to import the file too so he knows where to take it from?

nvm I figured it out myself, tbh I didn't think at all that I need to import the sound too after I change it, thanks a lot you enlightened me, glad someone answered .
