Hello
Can someone remove that part where it "skips" when it plays on repeat and make it go smooth?
It is in beggining I think and I tried to do it myself, although I'm just wasting time, failing...

Hey,

I managed to do them (Special Event is seamless, while Hero Selection required more editing and there is a point with the background that limits me from perfectly looping it - I also tried copying other instances of the audio clip to make it flawless, but I think it works fine).

The downside is that they have to be *.wav, because .mp3 tends to auto-create a small gap in the beginning and/or the end of the track, thus making it sound almost like the original (actually it sounds like a sound glitch, whereas the original sounds as if it's not destined to loop). Why is that bad? Because it takes up much more space.

Here is a test map; quite frankly, I wouldn't really catch the clipping of Hero Selection track as a player, unless you brought it to my attention.

Hmm, let me try to reconvert the wav into mp3; if it doesn't work, I will try to reduce the kbps rate (slightly lower quality, much lower filesize).

Edit: From Wikipedia - MP3 Design Limitations, it says that "Encoder/decoder overall delay is not defined, which means there is no official provision for gapless playback". From a quick look everyone has the same problem. Mp3 adds some silence in the beginning of the track, while wav supports the exact start/end positions (tested on three different software programs).

So, the only solution I guess is to decrease the quality of the wav a bit (that is, its sampling rate). Let me see if there are any options for that.

Edit2: Meh, it adds some noise no matter what the compression is. I'm no sound expert and I can't find a better solution on the web; you will either have to keep these or use their mp3 counterparts. :S
