Some way of detecting more than 12 hotkeys?

I want to be able to have a hotkey for every letter of the alphabet, so a typing game could work without the need for pressing ENTER constantly. Any ideas for a workaround?

PS: No, RtC isn't currently an option because it doesn't work with 1.24.

Hmm...how about having a dummy hero with abilities that do nothing for each Letter of the Alphabet as a hotkey?
And while you have the hero selected and you press each hotkey the ability will be activated.
You can base your system on this...

Yeah, that's exactly what I tried first, but I ran into the problem of not being able to have more than 12 abilities at once showing. You can't activate abilities that aren't showing, even with a hotkey, stupidly. Sorry for not making myself more clear.

Then that could be a problem
Another way to do it would be to create 3 heroes...but then this is not what you want..you will have to select a different hero according to the letters you type which is not convinient...
I can't think of another way to use more than 12 abilities at once...
Even making a spellbook it would require you to click it.

Yes,if you enable Barracks for example to train Peasants,pressing P would start train one.

I don't know if possible, but there is a trigger that is "Match - Force player to press key", maybe if you could force key enter, you could detect someone entered text and force enter after that so that after you get the word, the chat message is reopened automatically.

I guess the only way is to use a dialog wich contains all the letters as buttons with hotkeys.

Of course, you should also change the dialog background to a blank image.
A blank image should be also used for <Button> - Border, Border Pushed, Background, Background Pushed. I guess you can figure out why. [All done in Game Interface]

Example of creation of a button with hotkey:

• Dialog - Create a dialog button for YourDialog labelled "Esc" with hotkey: 512

You need UMSWE, by the way.

PS: you have to use ASCII numbers for hotkey numbers.
