Some models are white? Why?

I have no idea whats going on. some models (blizaard made (not imported)) are white. they have the basic outline of the model but are white. but, they work ok in-game. however, some (many) of my imported models are white. only parts of them are white tho and they do NOT work in-game. u can see them in game but they have white spots. why is this happening? I know its not bad imported models cause non imported models are having this problem. does it have something to do with skins? and sorry for the huge post...kinda wrote a book there...

Why would you ever import in game textures? Some models still have in game textures, attached to the zip when downloaded, but you should use an automated tutorial.

Because some models COME with in game textures in zip.
However, links to models that turn out white would be helpfull.

well none of the models are from the hive but if u stil want links i can. I still dont understand where ur coming from tho... i guess i just dont see how importing a model can mess up other imported models and non-imported models made by blizzard

It can, because you import blank or white textures used by imported models, WHICH DON'T HAVE TO BE IMPORTED (the textures). Try importing a model without textures first.

nope...still white, even with no imported textures. but i think its something more than importing wrong textures because all my maps have this problem. even maps with 0 imported models. i start a new map and it is already messed up.

u dont believe me huh? alright, i cant find a image hoster that supports .tga files but when i do...

1.) Why would you save screenshots as .tga
2.) Ifranview can convert from .tga and then you can upload anywhere

The first is an editor view and the second is in-game view.

As you can see, the blizzard made model works in-game but is messed up in the editor. the imported model is messed up in both the editor and in-game.

Can't load images, imageshack is being retarded again. Use www.photobucket.com, or upload them to the post. "Go Advanced" > "Manage Attachments".

Try this:
File > Preferences > Video > Change everything to "low", press "Ok", then set everything to "High" and press "Ok" again. I am not sure if it will fix it, but try it.
