I play on-and-off mainly as an Engineer.

Elite Hardcore only.

My current char is a level 20 construction-only engineer.

I would play it more if it wasn't for the bad interface. The auto aim, that is. I'd be in the middle of a huge mob and want to run away (left click somewhere far away), only to have my character attack a monster vaguely nearby my cursor, resulting in my death. Also, since I use cannons (aoe), I'd prefer to target my shots at a point when using shift-click instead of at a target.

I play a Berserker too. I have two actually, one for SP and another for LAN with a friend. Both are going for melee build. SP one is on Veteran, LAN one is on Elite.

Yeah, ranged AA seems to be somewhat buggy. But going a caster based ranged character is very good.

TL2 does have some issues, and requires more polishing, but overall a great game, especially for 20$.

The biggest thing I like is how good characters are, how diverse they can be. But also the art style is really nice.

I loved the Outlander class and the army of shadowlings! The double-pistols are a bit hard to aim but I usually walk around with a shotgun (or shotgonne), so the aiming problem doesn't really bother me.

The thing that actually bother me is the recently released editor. It's called TorchED and is extremely complex (for me).

They haven't released the editor for TL2 afaik. TorchED is the editor for TL1.

Yeah noticed Outlander has some summoners. My pet actually has like 3 summon spells (skeleton archers, blood zombie and exploding zombies). I like to think he is a Necromancer of sorts.

First two Acts are my favorite parts of the game. More about personal taste. And act 2 finishes in style. :D

Yeah I'm waiting for the Editor too. Can't wait to see mods which will enhance the vanilla experience.

thats bad luck
I have a question because I didnt play for quite some time, why do I deal 75% of time 1 damage in act 2 with normal attacks? the weapons have around 90 and 60 damage(130 and 160 dps) ?

You're fumbling. (when the damage colour is purple)

It happens more with faster attack speeds. Increase your agility and find items that reduce fumble chance/percentage.

Also, your weapons are quite weak for act 2.

they are from quests from act 2 actually :D but yes I forgot that there is fumble, but the weird thing to me is that I fumble next to each hit :D
thx for the info

edit: I dont think the weapons are too low, they require 27 and 29 level(Im 25 i believe) but may it be because I have shoulders req 11 and gloves req 17? :D

I have a new Outlander, half-through the first attack, and my 1h pistol has 110 DPS. You should check for better items at the blacksmith. In terms of Armor I suggest items with +Health. Some Electric and Poison Armor help.

As an Outlander, I suggest weapons with +Poison, +Ice or +Fire damage. I think shotguns are pretty good, although bows, crossbows, pistols can work too.

Berserker here. Go claws and up your life steal and your rage bar. Just keep increasing strength and agility. When your bar becomes full, you've become invulnerable since every hit you do heals your life. Just make sure you hit your bar fast and it stays there long.

Glass cannon!

I've played a fair bit of Outlander and Engineer. Outlander is my main and probably my favorite. I'm pumping stats into Agility (or whatever it's called) and getting some health and mana. No strength. I rely on magic damage weapons and mostly my glaive skills, which own. Also tried a melee Outlander for a bit. Has some potential.

It's here and it's dope. Totally renewed my interest in the game. Re-specd my outlander to be a shadowling/venomous hail user. Seems good, and now I get to use my Brute out all the time.

Also just got the overhaul mod for the game. Gonna try that out.

I know a lot of the mods have been out a while, but I was too lazy to install them and maintain them.

so I decided to roll embermage this time on elite difficulty, but playing solo is a bit boring so I wonder if someone would like to play co-op from start or from some point(I can get anywhere, but the higher the more time it will take)

Also, I never played online so that would be new for me to some degree(I have no friends with torchlight, the only one that I have has it pirated and he cant play online anyways)
