Slow Poison & Frost Arrows

I have realized that Slow Poison ONLY works when the unit's attack type is Missile (splash) which means that only units without splash, uses their Slow Poison ability.
I found out that the ability Frost Arrows works with splash, but it does no damage.
So I was thinking of a mixture of Frost Arrows and Slow Poison like: we rename Frost Arrows to Slow Poison and make it the same % of slowing and make it always autocast (with triggers). That way you won't notice that it has changed, but the damage over time will be missing.

What do you think about that?
