Hey, I can't start criticizing other peoples work without showing my stuff as well (That just isn't polite). So here is a sample of my work. No custom stuff, nothing out of the ordinary, just playing with colors and generating a balance.

It looks like a nuclear waste area. It's too bright glowing green. Is there a way to keep it light green but not look as if it's glowing? *goes to experiment*

And the sky doesn't fit. It should be darker, or you could cover it with cliffs, hills and/or trees. Anyway, it still looks good ...
 
It seems good but it need for or sky, this background doesnt fit into the pic...
Maybe you can add some of these goblin pipes or some slimey monsters.
