hey stewie man, by n e chance do u no how 2 make a unit slide??

foe example: an abillity where all of the units in an area are draged to the caster

1) Use my Seize/Charge spells.
2) Use the WEU Slide function.
3) Vexorian made a slide function in one of his maps, but its in JASS.

Do what raven sez i was thinking of a way to make a unit slide for a long time but raven did it for me. And of course WEU works fine to. Here is a link

ok i will explain the spell i am making that i want the slide....

SPELL:
It is called Demension Change,
it creates a portal at target point and creats a whisp (it looks different) to walk to the portal, the whisp has permanat immolation thus damaging units in a line, once it reaches the portal it plays a special effect and makes the whisp huge, the huge whisp walks back to th caster but the huge whisp's immolation does more damage...

WHAT I NEED HELP WITH: i want the whisp to suck all of the units in 'X' range to it.......

p.s. the spell is already made except the part i need help with....

It goes something like:

Unit - Move (Picked unit) instantly to ((Position of (Picked unit)) offset by -5.00 towards (Angle from (Position of (Picked unit)) to (Position of (Casting unit))) degrees)

That is almost exactly the same trigger that I used on my Seize map! This is the only way that I know of to "slide" units properly! Look in my Seize map for more information!

do you want the units to be pulled to the whisp when he gets back to the caster? or to be pulled to the whisp throught out its time alive?

as it is walking and btw there r 2 whisps 1 is the small and 1 is the huge, i would like this to work for both plz

I'm not sure how much i could help you one this. I haven't ever made a sliding spell, maby one the moves the unit but would look choppy. Your best anwser for this would be request this spell from vexorian, he had made some sliding spells in the past, but you would have to add his caster system to your map.
If you don't want to do that you could always e-mail what you got so far to me and i could try to make it so the units slide to the wisps. i wont be able to do anything until tomarow. If you do send it i'll give another post confirming every thing about the spell b4 i try it tomarow morning.

Best bet is to ask vexorian for a spell, sry i'm not much help on this like i said i'm not good with slideing.

If you don't have a clue as to what to do, then maybe you shouldn't be messing with sliding. Now, you can either open up my Seize map and stare at my triggers until you understand them, or you can request the spell.
