[JASS] Skip remaining actions for the current iteration of the loop?

How do I go to the next lap of the loop? Does 'return' do it?

you cant. If you have it in jass, you can wrap the loop in another loop with the same exitwhen conditions.

Return means you return from the whole function, so nothing in the function will run after that point

Why don't you just add a condition?

loop
    //here be stuff that will always happen
    if not skip then
        //here be stuff that can be skipped
    endif
endloop

What you're asking for is a "Goto" function. This doesn't exist. But it's bad style anyway.

You can fake continue by doing this tho:

loop
    loop
        code
        exitwhen someCond
    endloop
    exitwhen someCond
endloop

and now if you want to "continue" you just do exitwhen true in the inner loop.

Yes, not clear, and yours is probably better too, because the code can and probably should be transformed to not require continue(since there is no continue in Jass)
