I'm just thinking about starting skinning too and i've tryied alittle with Warcraft 3 Viewer and Gimp 2 and watched a few tutorials about skinning at youtube and other sites.
But nobody says how to attatch the skin to the model ? :S
This is probally no hard and the easyiest thing in the world but this little newbie dosen't know :D.
Or is it hard ;o? Rep+ Given if i'm helped.

No you have to change the path of the imported skin to the one of the model per exemple the path for the texture of Uther is Units\Human\Uther\Uther.blp you can find the pathes of the textures with an programm that could open .mpq data such as Warcraft 3 Viewer.
