Okay, this is kind of embarrassing. There's a simple solution I'm sure . . . but anyway, I edited one of the skins that attaches to a custom model, and then I reinserted it onto the model using the "War3ModelEditor".

However, when I import the skin that I altered along with the model into the map editor, the skin doesn't show up. In other words, that part of the unit's body is missing.

I think I'm using the right texture path in the map editor; when I opened the model with the WarcraftViewer, the texture path was the same.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The texture could be corrupted or whatever. Try reconverting it. When I convert textures into .blp using wc3viewer I have to set the compression to 75% or the file will get fucked up for some strange reason. So you could try to do that if you are using wc3viewer or you could use a different program.

It also might be (I wouldn't know) that the fault lies in the texture not being attatched correctly or something. In which case you won't be able to recieve help here.

interesting. I edited a skin (bandit) and was testing it in world editor. the skin showed up as black, with the red teamcolor on the shoulderplates. So I tried what you said about 75% and it shows up correctly now. I find it strange because 99% worked for me before.

does someone know the reason?
