Hey everyone!
I was thinking.
In THW there are thousands of epic n' cool models.
However there are a few simple and useful.
That happens because a very simple model get rejected.
What I suggest is to create a model category (or a sub category) where simple but usefull models will be placed (after approved).
Because there are hundreads of people who search for a simple model and can't find it (there goes the request forum).
Some weeks ago, I have asked a 4-element missile.
Ugo Ugo made it.
It was so simple but extremelly useful (and awsome).
If he upload it there was a low chance to get approved.
Another example are swords.
If you type sword(s) in the models section search you will get 1000 ''magic'' swords and nothing like a simple medieval sword.
In my opinion a category (or whatever) that "keeps" simple n' useful models will be nice n' helpful.
Suggest opinions, ideas n' stuff.

PS I don't know if another thread like that has been created in the past.

Well. It is quite hard to start a new category because you'd have to look through all models to add the proper categories to it. I may have another possibly helpful solution for you. There is one filter option by maximum file size. Simple models are smaller than advanced models, so I guess you could search for sword like this:
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models.php?search=sword&d=list&r=20
Then add &size=5 for 5 kilobytes max size like this:
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models.php?search=sword&d=list&r=20&size=5
Try it for yourself and tell me if you found it useful.

This might be helpful.
Ralle, you should update that list with whatever neat little codes you still have up your sleeve.

This is really cool n' useful.
Makes search quite easier.
But what of simple models.
They won't be approved either way.
Not confusing or contradicting at all.
Rejected/non-uploaded resources either can't be viewed publicly or be put in categories (since for that to work, they'd have to be uploaded ---> would get rejected --> not publicly viewable).

So basically, you want to have the option to look through rejected/browse non-uploaded resources?

The Requests Forum exists for a reason. Should something be requested multiple times, one can be pretty certain people will either point it out and provide a link, or fulfill the request again.
Additionally, there's always the possibility of exceptions being made, though that's up to the respective moderator(s). So you might find what you need in the sections after all.
Warcraft 3 ain't Minecraft, and I doubt you'd break the limits of a map by using one or two attachment models of higher quality.

Hmmmmm....
There's a search in the Request Forum (and all the other forums) so typing the model's name who may find the model (however this maybe take a little time).
As about looking through rejected/browse non-uploaded models that not what I mean at all.
I say that one can look/browse through simple models that are approved with a lenient way.
With the word simple models I don't mean a bad-made model with low quality e.t.c.
I mean a simple but useful model that has many uses.
For example.......a wooden collumn!
