Map Description

Story
Many years has passed and the island is covered with blood and transformed in a new born environment which the 33 heroes will fight for their glory.

- First Release


- Correct the map spelling from "Seige" to "Siege"
- Change the Base armor of Ogre Magi from "2" to "0"
- Fixed "Ion Cannon's" AOE Stun
- Change "Toss" SFX
- Fixed "Serpent Ward" and "Poison Snake" from remaining alive when their owner died


- Fix some tooltips
- Fix "Escape Button Bug" from gaining whole map visibility and killing all units of Player 2


- Fix some bugs
- Added a new item and hero

Player Heroes

You will be given control of one 30 heroes. There's a round-game system. Every hero has 4 abilities, 2 of them are similar to every hero.

Shield

the hero will not take damage from attacks and cannot be targeted by spells.

Branch Breaker

Sentry Ward

Summons an invisible and immovable ward that provides vision in an area.
Runes

Runes are spawn every 45 seconds in-game time, you will be notified when it spawns.

Artifficial Intelligence


You can now play with some AI in this map.

Game Modes

In this Mode all players will be given an item randomizer each round.


This mode is only available if item mode is activated. In this mode every time you killed a hero you will gain the item he have and your old item will be removed.


In this Mode "Fog" will be activated.


In this Mode "Fog" will be automatically activated and all heroes in each players has a "permanent invisibility ability" and "sentry ward ability".

The player must use the "sentry ward ability" to see other enemy.


In this Mode random player will be selected to be hit by thunder that deals 700~2300 Damage.

"The game is swift and very true to quick deaths rather than earning your way through an arena theme, most of the heroes were based on DotA's allstar champions. The winning bonus of this map is that it has functioning AI that tracks and kills which is a cool feature."

"Terrain is really different and has a really good look into it, however the global terrain work is just made on a same level, if there was cliff levels and shallow water regions it could shape up a good gaming ground."

"Overall map can recommended, you should work on that music/sound trigger its very noisy with the default theme and the rock n roll music mixing in, plus give in a quest menu on how to play, commands, updates, and reports of the game."

Hey Hitokiri_Vanguard,

Wow I'm very impressed! This map is lots of fun. Played it with 6 people on bnet, and we all had fun.

A few comments in general:

A lot of the heroes require knowledge of DotA, which isn't necessarily bad, but something to keep in mind when introducing completely new heroes to the game, as people may expect them all to be DotA-based.

Some of the abilities don't really require a lot of skill to use. ie: The freeze custom (not Crystal Maiden, the guy who locks your hero in and damages them) and the ninja guy. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be frustrating for the enemy if they just point-and-click to kill you.

Also a minor thing, in your map name on the Hive you have it spelled "seige" but in the game's load screen it is spelled "siege." I believe per North American convention, siege is correct; might wanna just stick to that spelling.

Overall a really fun arena, when I had all but given up on arenas. 5/5 rating. Good work!

Originality

I have seen such maps like this so for me, this is quite a common game though I like the modes present in the game which makes it better and unique though most of the heroes in-game are present in the DotA game.

Score: 56/100

Presentation

Presentation is really neat and attractive. I must say, a job well-done. It is a neat presentation giving viewers all the possible basic information to know about the game. No BB Codes errors or spelling errors. Given how simple is the description yet it still looks neat and much more informative so this gets a perfect score from me.

Design

Map Preview and Loading Screen looks awesome and fitting for this type of map. Tooltips looks much fine and no broken or green icons in-game. Though some names are mispelled or should we say some little errors in grammars such as Dispell, it should be dispel. There are more in-game though can't remember the others.

Score: 70/100

Terrain

Terrain looks neat and great to be honest though it could have some height variations. Use the Raise/Lower tool to do the trick and also, you might also want to consider making the trees bigger. Nothing much to say, the terrain is just good.

Score: 65/100

Triggers

I am not much of the person to judge triggers so I'll just go simply with nice job and I can say that the triggers is really neat and well-documented or well-arranged.

Score: 100/100

Object Data

Everything looks fine and I can say, nothing wrong with scaling sizes, selection sizes though it could be better if all hero could get a Hero glow model. Abilities are fitting for each unit.

Gameplay

Gameplay is really fast paced and it is great to have some quick matches in this game though the Storm Mode of the game could have more of a hint on where thunder would pop up like putting up an aura at the striking point so its not just based on pure luck. Also, could use some more items and most likely heroes.

Terrain could have some height variations. Use the Raise/Lower Tool to do the job
Trees could be bigger to be realistic because having trees with sizes of heroes is quite unrealistic.
Some heroes could have a hero glow model
Thunders that strikes random points could be more not based on pure luck. Make a hint on where th thunder will aappear to give chances of dodging. This is on Storm Mode by the way.
