Shockwave Problems

Ok so i renamed shockwave Shoot Bile gave it Chimera attack spell missile art and made it do 99999 damge. I also made it target 'debris'. Il cast it on a bunch of rock chunks in a row with 5 health but it doesnt even hurt them :/. Are they just not targetable by spells or what please help.

Where, cause i cant find it and this is relaly stopping the productin of my ant map lol.

Dr super il try, im trying to do something else with the map now but il answer here agian if i get it to work or not.

I was looking in triggers and it will only pick units in region or circle around unit, and it willonly kill units in region or circle around unit unless your killing 1 specific destructible, :( any advice would be helpful.

@Pszcholek: You can only place a certain maximum of neutral passive units through, so if he has alot of rock chunks hes going to have problems.
@Gost: Have you set the spell to target destructables? This may help some. If not you can try using the Channel spell and creating a trigger for it. You can also do as Pszcholek said except just use Player 12 and place that player on a different team. (depending on your map)

You need to make it target destructible and not debris. They are 2 different things and are alot different.

In ability targets allowed thing there is no destructible to check, only debris.

why just not count the time it takes for the shockwave to hit the first rock.. then the second and so on. then you can just make a trigger that kills the rocks with like 1 sec between the "kill-rockchunk001". its kinda messy but it will work.
Oh and remember that 1. you can order the casting unit to target a sec poin. and 2. you got to have like

events-
(spec unit)attack...(something like that)
condition-specifie the attacked unit
Action-
the trigger sugestion i gave u recently...

The easiest way is to do this:


  • 1. Go to Object Editor.
    2. Find Unit Tab.
    3. Once there find a unit you won't be using and click it.
    4. On the right you should look for something that says " Art - Model File"
    5. Change this to the Rock Chunks art file.
    6. Just place that unit in WE and you should be able to attack it like a normal unit.

Some things to look out for are the Units health, you should change it... Also make the unit have no movement speed, I can't remember that last time I saw a rock run... Around 0 BC- Jesus did it once. I swear.

Thats about it.
