Magos is fully capable of saving (and converting between) texture files (.bmp .tga .png .jpg .jpeg .pcx .blp).

yeah, you can export them via texture manager and change the filetype in the export. I was meaning it won't realy work with the regular ''Save''/''Save as'' function. But yes, you're right.
