Save A Map outside of Campaign

I'm trying to save my prologue outside of the Campaign, and it's just not working.


There are custom units in the Campaign, so I went ahead and imported the files into the map, copied the custom units and pasted the units into the map, clicked save as saved it as a standalone map, and all of my units disappear.

When I close the map and reopen it, nothing but a black box for each unit shows up. I've been trying to figure this out for the past two hours but I'm stumped.

Anyone know anyway to save the map outside of the campaign to make it a standalone map?

open the map and use save as, or try to export it.

Also open your campaign, go to File -> Export All Unit Data, and then open the extracted map and say File -> Import Unit Data. Import the campaign unit data and you're ready.
