Can I rotate a building (Change its degrees facing?)

If I make my "building" a unit, what kind of issues does that create?

I have heard that changing it's classification in the editor, then turning the building, then changing it back works. There was soemthing about this a long time ago, but no one was 100% sure on a way. And you mean making a unit look exactly like a building and use it as one? Won't work because as far as I know, units don't have the ability to train units.

There is a much easier way,

1. Click the doodad with the mouse
2. Hold the CTRL key
3. Click the left mouse button
4. Move the mouse into different direction to change the angle

(This can also be done with other objects like Units, destructables etc. but you need to select the right tool)

But if you mean a 'Unit building' this cant be done, you just can rotate an angle of a building. only normal units can face a different angle.

i was sure that units cud train units sumhow, maybe if converted from a building....i had a dog that ran around making wolves once, a bright green dog, but it made wolves...so it trained units.....that was in my early editor days...

You're right cal823, I don't know how it is done, but I've seen it in maps I've played.

The trigger may be useful yet Herio, for buildings people make... Also, anybody know why changing the game constant "Building Facing Angle (Degrees)" doesn't do anything? I changed it from 270 to 225, and new buildings I place, old ones I placed, and new ones I custom made all place the way they used to. Opening/closing the map didn't do anything either.
