Road Block spell help

I've got another spell that I could use some help with. I know how to make a fire wall, but I don't really want to do that. The spell I'm making, "Road Block" should have a transparent wall appear that spawns out from where the caster targeted. But instead of just making dummy units in a line, I want to have one big wall where a small Unit-missile model flies through (Just as a marker so people know they can't get through). Would this be possible?

If it is, thank you to anyone who helps! If you don't understand what I'm saying, I can try to explain it better.

Well, there is the transparent wall which appears in the warcraft 3 original campaign (RoC orcs). What about creating a doodad (invulnerable) there that looks like that wall?
