Reset fixed object heights?

This might seem kinda newbie but, is there anyway to copy/paste doodads while keeping their height value?

I thought thats what the "reset fixed object heights" setting was for, but it doesnt seem to change anything, whether its on or off my objects always go flat to the ground or most of my boulders end up floating whenever I copy paste them

am I just using the wrong setting or am I just stuck relying on Ctrl+PgUp/dn to fix all my copy/paste issues? thanks

I think... maybe I’m wrong that you can’t keep the height when copy past and you set it yourself with ctrl/up

There is no way to keep the height when copy/pasting objects unfortunately. The "reset fixed object heights" means that whenever you move an object the height will reset. If you uncheck this option the object will stay at the same height if you move it around.

thanks for the explanation, kinda sucks lol I cant believe they put that option for individual items but never added it to copy/paste also surprised theres never been some sort of mod to change it, would be soooooo helpful
