Ok, I'm using these in the map I am making. They are very nice size but the animations are poor.
They are extremely slow ingame and I can't figure out if the WE can help there.

I've sent donut3.5 a PM requesting he update the animations but I have not heard back in weeks.

so I'd like to request that someone either fixup the animation speed and send it to donut (Which will most likely be considered illegal ) OR create an alternative model that uses just as modelspace with proper animations.

I would use General Franks, but he doesn't have a blue model and his cost a bit more space which I need to use a little as possible.

You don't have to edit models to make animations faster.
Use this trigger instead.

  • Animation Fix
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit enters (Playable map area)
    • Conditions
      • (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to <Your Unit>
    • Actions
      • Animation - Change (Triggering unit)'s animation speed to <Animation Speed> of its original speed
      • -------- Note that 100% is original animation speed --------

I'm sure his idea will work, but theres a LOT of different types of units and theres a LOT of units that get spawned every 45 seconds.

The red and blue riders aren't used often enough to justify running a type check on every single unit that gets spawned.

Donut seems to have disappeared for the time being, and I've tried using the WE to adjust some values but they didn't seem to change the thing.

I don't have any skill in modeling, I would use general frank's model and request a blue one from him but I'm trying to use as little model space as possible so I can add more neat things to the map.

The extra 30(60 for 2)kb of the general's model is easily 4-6 icons, maybe 3 new special effects, or possible another model (Maybe 2 models since you guys do some amazing work).

So using the least amount of space is the most optimal solution for me and using a global trigger would be fine but its going to run more and more as the game progresses.
