Request - Lightning Pillar Spell Effect

Hai! I've made a spell where-by the caster fires a column of lightning, which travels along until it hits a target, at which point it stays on it and deals damage.

Currently I'm using 2 models to achieve this, the town-portal teleport hovering model, and the monsoon target model. What I'd really love, is the teleport model with a stream of lightning in the middle of it, making it look like a runic column of electricity.
