[REQUEST] First Strike Double Damage Ability

I would like an ability for my knight that automatically does double the base damage on first hit then x seconds before it repeats.

Knight acquires a target = ability automatically activates = first hit does twice the damage base = x seconds of cooldown before it is reusable/recharged.

Is it possible to do this easily and simple? You know, create new custom ability, modify some stats blah blah without triggers... JASS.. variables, the whole shebang.

I once came across a custom map a few years back, their knights had a similar ability - when a target is acquired at about, say 5 centimetres away, the knight speed-hacks, as if their speed base is temporarily increased to something like 1000 towards them and stops right infront, stunning the target for a few seconds. If only I could recall that map..

So this "Knight" is a normal unit ?
And this ability occurs only when the Knight acquires a target ?
So the condition is not time interval, but more to "acquiring target" for the spell to take effect ?

It is a normal unit.

Well, in more simple terms... it occurs when it is about to attack.

I don't know how to answer the third question but I hope the first two suffice.

I think it is like Gondar's Critical in Dota that it will deal Critical and wait again for a time then when it is activa again, it will deal critical damage.

In a way but I believe that is more about chance.
