I made a custom spell that based off avatar, and in the box with the time remaining; it says avatar, how do I remove this string? I also need to remove this for summoning things too... I will +rep
That string is the buff for the spell. Deleting it will just revert to defaults, so instead, you need to make your own buff, (basing it off of the original works well) the name of which will take the place of the "Avatar" string. The same concept applies with summoned units.
I don't think you can remove it entirely, unless the spell is permanent, but you could have it say "Ecstatic Communist Poodles of Olympus" if you wanted.
You simply go to the Object Editor (F6) go to the tab "buffs" and then search Avatar, at the bottom it says Text - Tooltip: Avatar, you can edit this Tooltip and it will alter the the name in the Avatar bar for you.
