If I convert the peasent model into a .mdl file, can I from there remove the gatherlumber animation in a wordpad by finding the right mesh? When the peasent harvests a tree, I don't want lumber to be shown on his shoulder. Is there anyway to remove that animation?

But if you remove only the geoset it will look like carrying nothing.

Just rename the animation to "wtfcrappyshit!" and your done with it.
If you want to save filesize, you should open it with Magos Model Editor and remove the animation. I think it delete the keyframes as well. Yeah, it does.

Also, remove the wood geoset so you save filesize as well.

That's FALSE. It doesn't remove a single key. You could try loading the grunt, saving as grunt_test, remove sequences, afterwards save as grunt_test2 and compare fil sizes. 99kb vs 98.2kb almost the same. ( I did the test with magos 1.07)

To remove an animation completely use oinkerwinkle's animation remover.
