"Random" maps

I just wonder, how often does your script update the random maps? I've been watching the same maps for quite some time now... Is it bound to some PHP session? Becaue they do update after restarting my computer. I actually haven't tried just to restart Firefox, but anyway. The random maps just don't look very random anymore

Well actualy I think that everytime you go to a new page there should be a new random map.And having the most popular map displayed there as well was better then having 2 random maps.

Most popular map would be wh40k version 5.05. But maybe having a timelimit in one month or something

Have to agree with Bob27, that's just what I thought about too; new page = new random maps. And the idea you had about displaying the most popular map is a good on too.

Yeah, and, disturbingly enough, someone upload a map with a picture of naked woman for it's minimap image (It's called Footman Wars Porno). Maybe all uploaded maps should require a moderator accepting them before they are shown in the database?

Maybe, if it's not too much work for the moderators. I don't know how often people upload new maps, but the archive contains thousands of them. It can't be too exciting to browse all those pages and look up "bad" maps that people have uploaded.

well first of all Ralle would have to make some way for us to moderate the maps section. Actualy the Misc Recources section can be cusomized to make it so mod has to accept it but then the misc recources section is a mod, while Ralle made the entire map database.
