I couldn't get the fallen tree to look better, either it went into the mountain or it was flying.

And to the fog, is that a good or a bad thing :p?

Appearantly for TheBlooddance its a bad thing <.< But I dont see how it is bad >.>

I mean theres nothing wrong with the fog, and nothing wrong with the fallen tree, though, you could maybe make it a bit more overgrown so it wouldnt look like it went into the mountian, no the real problem here is the long streched part of rock tiles, it just hurts my eyes, do something to make it look more like an actual valley :p

Alright, I'll change the fog, try to make the fallen tree look more overgrown, try to do something about the streched tiles, and... try to pimp it somehow i suppose

One more thing, letting the little 2D things on the bottoms of rocks show is bad. You should bury your rocks at least 1/4 of the way but 1/2+ is better. If you want to make them stick out of the ground, make them bigger.

When you size up a rock, the ratio of height to width should be something like 1:1.5. Short and fat rocks look a lot better than tall and thin ones.

In my humble opinion I think it needs to abit more overgrown.
Also, the roots of the fallen tree are abit sharp to the rest of the terrain, so i would suggest putting some of those hanging vines (cant remember the name of them atm) to cover up the roots, that should look like moss and grass being ripped up togheter with the roots.

Most trees that fall are dead. Not sure if you could make it look good as a dead tree, but you might want to give it a try.

Well it could have fallen recently. Trees don't just instantly go poof and die and shed all their leaves and start rotting when they fall over. A tree will usually remain alive for quite a while after it falls over. Just like a chicken remains alive for a minute when you cut its head off, a tree remains alive for a while after it falls, except on a much larger scale, because trees live hundreds of years while chickens live three or four.

Of course, I just thought it would look better. And most trees that fall are already dead, and that's why they fell; but as you said, not always.

except the fact that the big stomp is giant, is there anything else that you think is wrong with the terrain?

Haha I forgot about it, and went back to the original.

Your new one could use some tiles variation. Some of the rocks look a bit stretched too.
