Hiya, I'm working on a new footies map and I have a question about a hero model.

Is there anyway that I can simply remove the glow of the hero to make the hero look like a normal unit?

I like the model of the hero, but I want to use it as a normal footy unit.

Any suggestions are welcome!

[Thanks again!]

There's a tutorial on the Magos Model Editor how to delete glows.

Or read this tutorial here.

P.S. The Magos way is easiest.

Alright, where can I get a program that can extract models, like the tutorial asks you to get?

Wc3 viewer.

EDIT: I don't think you have to extract any mdx if you use the magos model editor, just control click on the glow and delete it in the geoset manager.

I don't know a lot about modeling so do you think you could a little further into depth about the geoset manager or w/e? I downloaded that Warcraft 3 Viewer, if that's what it's in.. but I don't exactly know what I'm doing... Help is appreciated! [thanks]

Ok :)

Ok first, download this, then when you have that downloaded, look for the model you want and open it. Click the windows tab on the top of the screen then go down to the one that says Geoset manager.
Then hit CTRL and click on the glow that you want to remove (in this case, the bottom one) and it automatically highlights which geoset that is in the Manager that you just opened. then you right click on it and hit remove, and say yes to whatever it says.
