Questions about broken replay (desync)

replay plays normally up to a certain time, then at some point, the replay becomes different from the original play. Units seem to be stuck somewhere.

In the past, in my experience, certain functions have caused issues like this.

Is there any guide on why this happens and how I can fix it?
 
I encountered this kind of issues before. In original replay (skirmish game), my team won the battle, but then it shows a different replay, where my units become stuck somewhere and my friendly AI team got beaten by the enemy team instead of actually "winning" it.

If you have a custom AI scripts implemented for your maps, then make sure you don't made changes for the AI scripts. It can mess up the replay.

I've been looking into this problem myself recently, and I was hoping to ask what you meant by "changes for the AI scripts"? I've found that this problem persists in multiplayer games where no AI scripts should be running, and am hoping to find out what could be causing it so I can try and remove the problem.
