Question regarding a melee map

I was taking a look at some of the melee maps made by blizz that I want to edit for a friend and I who enjoy RPing in Warcraft 3 (after having cancelled our WoW subs) and I was wondering - on the Melee Map "Ruins of Stratholme" (6 player TFT melee map) is it possible to reveal the middle of the map? It's all blacked out and blocked from vision and I don't see that being tied to any specific LoS blockers or anything like that. So can it be done to get access to that area by chance? Just curious if anyone has already tried this or not.

It's obstructed by the map boundary, so you won't be able to reveal it through any gameplay means.

That said, you can edit the map and remove it. Go into the terrain palette - to the right of terrain tiles there are 3 buttons, the bottom one removes boundaries.
