(Power Supply Unit, the box with the watt's)

Currently my build is, maybe useful:
MSI P965 Platinum
Intel Pentium Duo 2,8 Ghz
2 gigabyte RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
HDD 250 gigabyte

Due to my ignorance, I entirely forgot about my PSU when I purchased my new video card. I received after a week a popup that says
"Bla bla underpowered, needs at least 450 Watt to operate nice."
So I decided to get, obviously, a new one. I got my eye on a PSU that is cheap, efficient and is at ór above 500 Watt.

Uny rucummundutuuns?

Note: I got experience with some hardware, but none at all when it comes to PSU's. What's up with all those options on these things?

Cheap PSUs are not usually a good idea. It can lower the performance of your other parts, and lower their life span. Give links to any you have your eyes on.

This

This is an extremely high quality PSU, it's Tier 1, most other PSU's at 500 either don't have the right connectors (Antec Basiq) or are only $5 less for a Tier 2 one (Antec EA/Xigmatek)

Don't even think of getting an OCZ Fatility, even if it's 50 more watts, they are crap.
