Use Vexorians Map Optimizer, it should be downloadable at www.wc3campaigns.net

you can use extprotect too very small tool but it locks map with password so you can unlock it again (dont think you'll need unlock function but it has one)
anyway very small as I said good if you want something quick

If it can be unlocked again then it's not doing a good job optimizing.

The real reason to protect your maps is to reduce their size.
