With the influx of players set to arrive due to Reforged, perhaps a mode for competitive players could be introduced?

It would have changes to reduce general randomness by reducing the RNG of:

  • Unit attacks (Instead uses an average number)
  • Blademaster's Critical Strike (Instead becomes 'Every fifth attack against enemy units deals 100%/200%/300% more damage')
  • Demon Hunter's Evasion (Instead becomes 'Every tenth/fifth/fourth attack from enemies against the demon hunter is dodged')
  • Mountain King's Bash (Instead becomes 'Every fifth/fourth/third attack against enemy units does 25 bonus damage and stuns for 2 seconds (1 second against heroes)')
These changes of course are only a draft and maybe some other passives would need to be tweaked.

Please give me feedback!

How about this:
In every game there is RNG, which is always a factor to take into account and it's what makes a game interesting, to not to have a skill guaranteed to do its effect.
No one will count how many times the blademaster attacked or how many times the demon hunter was attacked to use that as a strategy to do a blowing kill or something else. Nor is this "competitive mode" will have any effect in game.
So deal with the RNG.

Sounds cool, but I wonder if there is an audience for a change like this.

People would totally count, especially if telegraphed properly. The sword glows, the hero gets a buff to indicate it, etc. The mechanics listed is already used in Mobas like League. You underestimate how much people micromanage.
