:infl_thumbs_up:allright , at the moment I am working on a futuristic map , in which you use any sort of futhuristic things but however I ran in some problems . my shps need to receive hardpoints which symbolise his functions such as laser batteries and generators , but I haven't been able to do such a thing, I have no idea how to fix that . also my terrain is bad as well , 'cos it is normal terrain and I need a galaxie-like terrain .

the map features 4 groups which consist of 3 players each, and they have to destroy the enemy spacestations.
these are the following units I have already made
-raptor (harvester)
-V-wing (fighter)
-assault ship (capital ship)
-raider (fighter)
-suicide fighter (fighter sort of)
-pegasus (capital ship)
-the sorveigner (capital ship)
abilities
-mana shield
-tractor beam (keep an thing in place)
resources
-diamants -- this you harvest
-pilots -- these you get over time
-energy -- the food role
hero's
none yet >.<

plz react
and if you know any original ideas or anything else leave a comment , and or if you think if the map is rubbish say what needs to be changed.

i think he means hard points as in destroyable spots on a ship. they would be made by creating units that move with the ship. the units would be turrets/shield genrators/tractor beams ect. they would serve as the ships weapons. however i suppose it would be difficult making all those units stay in the same position on the ship as it is moving/turning ect.

oh ya, now it makes sense.
I'm not pretty sure how you could do something like this, but I think it's better to use a chance system. When it's hit it has a chance of hitting that turrets or generators or whatever. Making so many units around one unit, it will eventually lag the game.

for good units in the map just look for "ships" in the models section of this site.

for the chance system just everytime a ship is attacked make it a chance to have negative effects on the ship. attack damage loss, armor loss, speed loss, loseing hp over time, ect.
