OK in my new project i have various areas. much as some of these are next to each other in terms of the actual game they are not, how can i make it so that a player that certian parts of the map are invisable to others also so that when they leave a certian area it also becomes invisable?

when testing the map atm the normal fog of war means that u can see what buildings/trees etc are there as long as they are doodads, i want it so not even these can be seen if that is possible.

thanx

You mean that it turns completely dark (as before) when the unit leaves the area? There's an action that creates a black mask at a region:

Actions
Visibility - Create an initially active visibility modifier for Player 1 (Red) emitting Black Mask across (Playable map area)

Problem is that areas scoutet by a unit are always partially visible, you have to create a new black mask everytime a unit leaves a region. And this one is not working:

Events
Every 2 secs of game-time
Actions
Visibility - Create an initially active visibility modifier for Player 1 (Red) emitting Black Mask across (Playable map area)

Why? Try it out and enjoy the result
