Problems with the maps/mods

Hi,

I'm really new in here (and French, so sorry for some bad English).
I've found some Youtubers playing with customs maps with friends on W3, and as i really loved playing W3 and wanted to have another experience on this game I tried to download and play some customs maps found on your website.

I don't know if it's the right place to ask it, I'm kind of lost, but I got some troubles after the downloads. I'm moving the files to the maps folder (when it's maps). And after launching the game, i could found them in the custom games/campaigns, but for most of the maps, I never can play it (except for 1 map on 10 downloaded). It crashes my game or just freeze it or just load and come back to the custom maps selection.

I dont know if i'm missing something or if i need to download some files to make them work...

If you can help me thanks a lot, here is what i got and what i downloaded :
Got both warcraft 3 and frozen throne.
I dl maps like "the choosen ones", "day of the dragon", or fantasy life" etc. It's some of the most dl maps to be sure it's viable in the first way.

Did you launch Battle.Net to update to the latest version?

Also Day of the Dragon is broken as far as I know due to it using bugs that are now fixed.

What game version are you running?
Have you put the custom campaigns in the right Campaigns folder under OS disk:\users\my documents\Warcraft III\Campaigns?
